Restricted Use Pesticide Dealers

Restricted Use Pesticide (RUP) Dealer Registration is required of any firm that sells Restricted Use Pesticides to end users (certified applicators) of those pesticides. This credential is required even if the dealer firm holds other pesticide credentials, such as a pesticide business license.

You can check to see which business locations are currently registered RUP Dealers by clicking here.

For additional guidance on when an RUP Dealer Registration is required for a particular business location, click here for Policy 06-0302.

RUP dealers are required to maintain records of those sales for at least two years. You can view an example of an RUP recordkeeping form by clicking here.

You can determine if a product is an RUP by looking for the prominently displayed words "RESTRICTED USE PESTICIDE" on the front of the label, or by clicking here.

You can determine if an individual applicator is certified and eligible to purchase an RUP by clicking here.

To apply for the annual RUP Dealer Registration, complete the application form and submit it with the $45.00 fee. You can download a copy of the application form by clicking here.
