Insurance Requirements for Wood Destroying Pest Inspection Businesses
 
Proof of financial responsibility; insurance
Applicants for licensure as a wood destroying pest inspection business shall furnish evidence of financial responsibility (certificate of insurance) acceptable to the state chemist prior to the issuance and upon expiration of the certificate of insurance on file with the state chemist.
 
Minimum Coverage
Property damage liability coverage in the amount of $50,000.00 per inspection ($100,000.00 aggregate limit) for claims arising out of any damage from the wood destroying organism pest inspection.
 
Official Form
Proof of financial responsibility shall be provided by the issuing company or institution on a certificate of insurance where all applicable limits or sublimits of liability and exclusions to the limitations affecting these minimum coverage requirements are duly noted.
